Picnic at the Floridiana garden

I’m happy to inform you that this Saturday after class we have planned to go picnicking somewhere in the Villa Floridiana garden. Grazia, as leader of the group, is supposed to bake a cake for us. Whereas, we have the chance to either bring something from home or buy take-away pizzas in one of the many restaurants and pizza shops near by the garden. Do not forger to bring something to sit on the grass, otherwise we have to use the very few and often dirty benches available in the garden.

After our picnic, those who have some energy left could go downtown for a walk sightseeing some of the historic places, which are generally closed during the other months of the year, but open in this month in occasion of the so called ‘Maggio dei Monumenti’.

Let’s have lots of fun!

Please, extend this invitation to all the other people who you would like to invite.

So, How was the Party for you?

This is kind of a way to say finally I'm on this rather 'colourful' blog and in response to Rino's shiny flag below?? To be honest if you're going to force people to have a day off then make a go of it. Personally, I spent all of yesterday at home and whenever I looked out the window, the streets looked pretty dead to me.

These articles I found on the BBC might go someway to explaining the lack of atmosphere.

This is a nice listening exercise for you too.

And finally it does seem that someone, somewhere did do something ... Naples seems to be missing though... Some nice pictures to look at to remind you of the fun you had ...

See you on Saturday
